YOGIC LIFESTYLE COACHING

A yogic lifestyle is centered around principles such as mindfulness, self-discipline, and self-awareness. It encompasses various practices, including yoga asana (poses), pranayama (breathing exercises), meditation, and ethical guidelines known as the Yamas and Niyamas.

Physical well-being: I guide you in adopting a regular yoga practice, which includes asanas (physical postures), pranayama (breathing exercises), and meditation. These practices can improve your flexibility, strength, balance, and posture. They can also help alleviate physical ailments and promote a healthier body.

Mental well-being: Through mindfulness and meditation techniques, I will provide you with tools to calm your mind, reduce stress, and improve focus. These practices can enhance your mental clarity, memory, and cognitive abilities. They can also help you manage anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues.

Emotional well-being: Yogic practices emphasize self-awareness and self-compassion. I will support you to become more attuned to your feelings and emotions. I will assist you in adopting techniques such as journaling, affirmations, and gratitude practices to cultivate positive emotions and manage negative ones.

Spiritual well-being: Yoga is deeply rooted in spirituality. I can guide you in exploring your spiritual path. I will help you connect with your inner self, discover your purpose, and cultivate a sense of peace and contentment. This work will introduce you to concepts like mindfulness, detachment, and self-realization, which can deepen your spiritual journey.

Holistic approach: As a Yogic Lifestyle Coach, I understand the interconnectedness of our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. I will help you create a holistic approach to your lifestyle, including nutrition, sleep, self-care, and relationships. I will be with you every step of the way, encouraging you to find balance in all aspects of your life, leading to a more fulfilling and harmonious existence.

What to expect…

Once we have met for your free 20 minute call to see if we are a good fit for each other, we will curate a plan that best suits your journey. It is best to schedule one session per week for 6 weeks to achieve a lifestyle or behavior change.

Each 60 minute session is divided into 15 minute segments on the following practices:

1)Yoga Philosophy- the blueprint to follow, based on the Yamas and Niyamas (Yogic code of ethics), which leads us to a happy, healthy and peaceful life.

2)Yoga asana (postures)-improve flexibility, strength, and balance. This portion of the practice helps the body’s joints, ligaments, and muscles strengthen through movement; increasing mobility, lubricating the spine and alignment to aid in everyday activity.

3)Meditation/Breathwork (Pranayama)- Meditation can give you a sense of calm, peace and balance that can benefit both your emotional well-being and your overall health. Breathwork (Pranayama) helps put the brakes on an acute stress response and diverts the health problems associated with chronic stress.

4)Nutrition- Good nutrition not only makes a difference in your yoga journey, but also supports your overall mental and physical health. Yoga and nutrition also work together to improve performance and speed recovery.
